TODAY WE MADE HISTORY. AGAIN. 2ND ANNUAL UNITE THE TRIBES / IMMIGRATION PRAYER WALK — SUCCESSFUL. Prospect Park felt it. The wind felt it. The ancestors felt it. People from every walk of life showed up. Taino. Mexica. Lenape. Borikua. African. Diaspora. Strangers became relatives. Many met for the first time and left as one tribe. We played the drums. We played the conch. We played the songs our grandmothers taught us. And the ancestors answered. They came in the form of a strong wind that moved through Drummers Circle. You had to be there. The trees knew. The ground knew. We knew. We shared stories. We shared knowledge. We shared medicine. We stood tall, shoulder to shoulder, United against ICE. United against the lie that we are divided. United against the lie that we are immigrants on our own land. We are not immigrants. We are Indigenous. To this hemisphere. To this struggle. To each other. This is what unity looks like: Fists up. Hearts open. Ancestors present. Black. Brown. Indigenous. One People. One Earth. One Future. Special thank you to @bpp.wa @allmyrelations2025 and @chiapaseducationproject for holding it down and supporting the movement. Real ones move in silence and show up in power. Year 1 was the seed. Year 2 was the storm. Year 3 will be the forest. The division was the lie. The unity is the truth. And today, Brooklyn witnessed it. To everyone who pulled up: You are the answer to a 500-year prayer. Pa’lante. United. #UniteTheTribes #ImmigrationPrayerWalk #ProspectPark #ElvisKatari #Brooklyn

THIS WAS NOT A SLOGAN. THIS WAS A DECLARATION OF WAR. Read the shirt. UNITE THE TRIBES AGAINST I.C.E. That is not a hashtag. That is not merch. That is a revolutionary message. That is a powerful message. That is a message that needed to be heard on stolen land. They told us to stay divided. Black vs Brown. African vs Indigenous. Mexican vs Puerto Rican. “Illegal” vs Citizen. We told them to go to hell. Because when ICE raids one home, they attack every tribe. When they cage one child, they cage our collective future. When they deport one elder, they try to erase 20,000 years of memory. So we stood in Prospect Park and said it with our chests: We are not immigrants. We are Indigenous. You cannot be illegal on land your ancestors walked for millennia. And we will unite against every system built to separate us. I spoke this truth while the wind moved through the trees. While the drums were still echoing. While the ancestors were listening. This message is dangerous to them because it is true. It is powerful because it is united. It is revolutionary because we survived to say it. Year 1 we planted the seed. Year 2 we spoke the truth out loud. Year 3 we make them listen. If this shirt offends you, good. The truth should make colonizers uncomfortable. Pa’lante. United. Against I.C.E. Against the lie. For the people. Part 1 of Speech, Part 2 coming soon #UniteTheTribes #AgainstICE #RevolutionaryMessage #PowerfulTruth #NoOneIsIllegalOnStolenLand

THIS IS THE PICTURE THEY DON’T WANT YOU TO SEE. Look at the sign. “THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE” Look at who’s holding it up. Our elders. Our youth. Our people. Flags from every corner of this hemisphere — because borders are new, but we are ancient. 2ND ANNUAL UNITE THE TRIBES IMMIGRATION WALK — Prospect Park This banner says what ICE can never deport: Love crosses borders. Hate built them. Protect the children. Protect the future. Protect the culture. Now look at our youth in this photo. One kneeling with wisdom in her eyes. One standing with pride in her posture. They are not watching the movement. They ARE the movement. They brought this banner to the circle. They held it up while we spoke. They heard every word about being Indigenous, not immigrant. About being united, not divided. About being the answer to 500 years of prayer. The colonizers gave us prisons. We gave our kids ceremony. The system gave us separation. We gave our kids each other. When the wind came through Drummers Circle today, it wasn’t just the ancestors. It was the future breathing. Our youth will not inherit our trauma alone. They will inherit our unity. They will inherit this banner. They will inherit a world where every flag on that cloth is family, not foreign. Year 1 we walked. Year 2 we taught. Year 3 they will lead. The only thing more powerful than hate is love. The only thing more powerful than love is organized love. And that’s what you’re looking at. Pa’lante. For the youth. With the ancestors. Against the lie. Special thank you to @chiapaseducationproject @bpp.wa for the banner 🪶🫱🏾‍🫲🏿 #UniteTheTribes #ImmigrationWalk #ProspectPark #ElvisKatari #YouthAreTheMovement

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE CULTURE: I love seeing our history spread. I made these graphics for that exact reason. But respect the work. If you’re going to screenshot my picture, with my Borikua Power logo, and the flag timeline I designed, and use it for your page… At least tag the creator. This isn’t about ego. This is about lineage. Colonizers stole land. Corporations steal culture. Pages shouldn’t steal labor. Every flag in that graphic I researched. Every color I chose with purpose. Every pixel was placed so our people could see their history clearly. You want to educate? Good. Do it with integrity. You want to profit? Fine. Do it with credit. Sharing is not the problem. Erasure is the problem. We’ve been erased from textbooks for 500 years. Don’t erase us from our own posts. If you post my work, tag @katari_elvis and @official_borikuapower That’s the minimum. The movement is collective. The credit is not optional. We unite the tribes. We don’t bite the hands building the archive. Pa’lante. With respect. #CreditTheCreator #BorikuaPower #Taino #PuertoRico #FlagHistory

THEY NEEDED YOU TO FEAR YOUR OWN BLOOD. Look at his face. That is not a demon. That is your ancestor. That is the man they told you to erase so you’d kneel to a cross you didn’t choose. They came with armor and Bibles and called our medicine “witchcraft.” They called our spirit “savage.” They called our ancestors “demons” — not because it was true, but because the truth was dangerous to them. The truth is this: We had science. We had government. We had ceremony. We had sovereignty before they had maps of our land. We had gods before they branded us with theirs. And they knew if you ever asked your ancestors who you really are, the colony would collapse in your mind. So they burned the books. Burned the bohíos. Burned the memory. But they couldn’t burn the blood. You are the answer to a 500-year prayer. The demon was never your ancestor. The demon was the lie. Start asking them for the truth again. Light the candle. Say the name. Learn the history. Decolonize. Pa’lante. With the ancestors. Against the lie. #BorikuaPower #Taino #Indigenous #Decolonize #Ancestors

THIS IS WHAT UNITY LOOKS LIKE. Look at this picture. Really look. Drums. Flags. Regalia. Berets. Fists in the air. Babies in strollers. Elders in chairs. Taino. Mexica. Borikua. Black. Indigenous. Diaspora. All of us. Together. On the land. This was last year’s 1st Annual UNITE THE TRIBES Walk. We didn’t just “meet up.” We made ceremony. We made family. We proved that the divisions they taught us are a lie. When colonizers came, they told us we were separate. When we came together last year, we told them they are the ones who are alone. • And we’re running it back. THIS SATURDAY - 2ND ANNUAL UNITE THE TRIBES Time: 3PM Location: Prospect Park, Brooklyn - Drummers Circle Year 1 was the seed. Year 2 is the tree. More drums. More teachings. More medicine. More nations. More babies being raised around power, not around fear. If you came last year, you already know the energy. If you missed it, you already heard the stories. Don’t hear about it twice. Be in it this time. Bring your flag. Bring your drum. Bring your children. Bring your elder. Bring your whole self - no codes, no costume, just truth. We are not a monolith. We are a mosaic. And when we stand together, we are unbreakable. THIS SATURDAY. 3PM. PROSPECT PARK. DRUMMERS CIRCLE. Tag the tribe you’re bringing. Pa’lante. United. For the Ancestors. For the next seven generations. #UniteTheTribes #ProspectPark #DrummersCircle #Brooklyn #IndigenousUnity
