Kate is an ecological economist and author of Doughnut Economics: Seven Ways to Think Like a 21st-Century Economist—an international bestseller published in over 20 languages, shaping conversations from the UN General Assembly to Pope Francis, David Attenborough, and Extinction Rebellion.
She is co-founder of Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL) Economics Action Lab and a Senior Teaching Fellow at Environmental Change Institute (ECI), University of Oxford.

Much of this programme has been inspired by conversations with builders and shapers across the ecosystem. Islands of coherence are taking form across initiatives, ideas, and practices weaving together to form parts of the system we’re moving towards.
