Hi! My name is Kate. I’m from Ukraine. This is my new account, so this is a little introduction.
I’ve been working in the beauty industry for 13 years. I do makeup and hairstyling.
I’ve been living in Canada for 3 years, and here I started to see my experience in a new way.
In 2012, I finished makeup courses and almost immediately started working with clients. Even though I was a beginner, girls liked my work and recommended me to their friends.
In 2013, unexpectedly for myself, I organized a workshop in my city with a well-known Israeli makeup artist Felix Shtein. This helped me connect with many artists in my city and gave a great boost to my career.
Since then, my professional life has been a series of makeup looks for all kinds of events—weddings, graduations, photoshoots—and many happy clients.
In 2014, I also started doing hairstyles. I took part in two hair competitions and won prizes.
In addition, I’ve had the opportunity to work on many exciting projects.
My experience includes:
– Working on TV shows such as “Ukrainian Top Model” (2014, 2015) and “League of laugh” (2019–2021)
– Makeup for two short films and 10 music videos
– Working as a makeup artist in theater productions such as “50 Shades of Grey” and children’s shows “Lady Bug and Super Cat” and “Frozen”
– Organizing masterclasses for makeup artists (2013–2019)
