Chapter 3: Day of the Dead Welcome Bash 💀

One year ago, we were on the Final Countdown until “I do!” So many of our friends and family had traveled such long distances that a Welcome Party was a must! We wanted to give everyone a taste of our East Nashville neighborhood so we picked @butcherandbee for its unique blend of food, drinks, and moody atmosphere. Plus! Our hotel block was just across the street @waymoresnashville ! We all know how Yoji loves walkability 😆 and I wanted convenience for our guests so this combo was perfection.
The night was beyond magical from the rehearsal dinner speeches to sharing moments with dear friends and family. It was absolutely overwhelming seeing some many humans we love so much in one space! We felt truly blessed and grateful 💗
Rooftop Afters!! We partied into the night at @talltalesnashville 's rooftop afterparty! Who needs sleep??

Chapter 1- ‘Til Death ⚰️
As our year as “newlyweds” comes to a close *it*is*time* to reminisce on the 4 day extravaganza what was…”KY Fest”
Now you might be thinking… Kat what took you so long… but if you remember the other theme of the wedding was “Finally”! So it’s just part of the theme 😂
Day 1 (Thursday) Halloween 2024 kick off. I could not- not have a Halloween party! It was so amazing have so many family and friends in town we just had to trick or treat together!
Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to be “that” Halloween house. So in 2020, Charlize (4 years old) and I started our yearly tradition of going to Spirit Halloween and creating our “scene”. Fast forward to 2024, and a Beetlejuice wedding scene was a requirement for the wedding weekend. The kids had a glorious time trick or treating together. Sorting through candy. Eating pizza. I don’t think I will ever be able to top Halloween 2024, not only because the decorations were so over the top but because we had such an amazing group of adults and children enjoying the day together. It was the perfect wedding weekend kickoff! Thank you to everyone who helped pull this event together, including @ambrabaker with the beautiful charcuterie board complete with casket and skeleton! 🖤🎃🖤👻🖤
