Here’s a first glimpse of the project : a curated moodboard, a rich and expressive color palette, and a logo built around contrast and rhythm. A visual universe where rugs are treated as design pieces, not just functional objects.
💭 Concept : The goal was to express the essence of Nōli Rugs through a modern interpretation of craftsmanship. Inspired by the tension of threads on a loom, editorial design codes and artistic interiors, the identity reflects a balance between structure and fluidity, where fibers become visual language.
🎨 Colour Palette : Soft vintage rose, deep chocolate brown, warm umber and a luminous mint-blue create a refined yet vibrant harmony. A palette designed to feel both warm and contemporary, allowing color to play a central role in the brand expression.
🖋️ Logo : The contrasting line weights mirror the rhythm of woven fibers, where craft meets curated design. The wordmark plays with thick and thin strokes, while the italic “Rugs” acts as a quiet signature, a subtle nod to movement, gesture and handmade detail.

🇲🇦 We imagined the Instagram presence of Maison Terraé as an extension of the house itself, a place translated into atmosphere rather than decoration, where contrasts feel intentional and materials tell more than words ever could.
📸 Visual storytelling : The grid moves like a curated visual narrative, earthen walls, linen drapes, water reflections, artisanal details and abstract geometry inspired by Medina architecture. Each frame captures what the house is made of : stone, pigment, fabric, calm, with a striking yet subtle touch of red to echo its contemporary pulse.
🎨 Aesthetic foundation : The feed is anchored in earthy neutrals and mineral warmth, guided by hand-drawn illustrations that give every post a crafted, human signature. Carmine-red appears in delicate accents, like a spark of spice or a stroke of clay, vibrant but never overpowering.
🗝️ Stories & Highlights : Here, typography and illustration come together to shape visual chapters, guest impressions, rooftop hours, quiet mornings and sensory details.
