THE RAVE LEGENDS! 💚 Fri 6 March 💚
The Rave Legends: the DJs, selectors, the movers and shakers who laid the foundation for generations and shaped the electronic music scene we know today. From warehouses and smoky basements to iconic dancefloors, these artists pushed sound, community, and party culture when only a few were watching. Before the hype. Before the headlines. Before the scene became what it is today.
For one night, we bring them together: Karsten Loud, Jean Von Baden, Daniel San, Al Lindrum, Tim Andresen, Rosa Lux, and Jokke. One night. Two floors. Come together and party like the old days.
We had so much fun this saturday @radio_panini@karstenloud spoke about music, his first rave, working in Street Dance Records and music from 1988-1993, a time where underground was to types of music "4/4 beats" and "downbeat"
Karsten plays some legendary tunes and some for me totally unkown music like Don Carlos "Meditarrano", Tragic Error "Tanzen" and the spooky tune "Where is your child" with Bam Bam.
And yes! We have agreed on doing a part two of this, cause its fun and hopefully it can tell a little rave-history from Copenhagen.

Christiania just turned 54 — and the freetown showed us exactly how it’s done.
@karstenloud and @mashtimusic filled Friday night with pure energy. It was all about lights, beats, and a community that doesn’t slow down.
A birthday Copenhagen won’t forget.

Come join me and Copenhagen legend @karstenloud when we talk about music, raveculture and the importance of recordstores for electronic and undergroud music.
Karsten worked at Street Dance Records and later on at Loud - both legendary record stores in Copenhagen. Before internet was normal and phones hang on a wall.
Karsten will bring music from 1988-1993 and we will speak danglish and have fun.
Come join us @jolenebar for the next Sakena's today @radio_panini from 16.00-17.00, or stream live or listen later
