Is a sort of electro-acoustic mixtape most of which was assembled in the late summer of 2023 in the deep south-side of Denmark during a week residency at the best studio the country had to offer at that time, then finalized in Aarhus some time after that. Most of the material was composed through Gutter Synthesis, piano and zoom recorder and if dedications matter, it’s to all the animals

The Great Desert
Last release in the guitar-based drone trilogy including first tape Tornskadekirken 1-4 with @forlagetkornmod , second tape The King of Memphis and now The Great Desert - very long, raw and dry recordings of one acoustic guitar, one electric, two e-bow, feedback, slow detuning, a couple amps and a lot of microphones - no plan, no overdubs, no composition
Available now on Bandcamp, maybe some other music sites too - digitally for now, but tapes will come when I figure out how to do that with such a long recording.

New tape out today ! This one is the debut album from the incredible rapper and classical composer @noemi_schrader under the guise of IMEON. The album is mostly composed of kick drums from various shades of club styles/temperaments and Noemi’s blend of rapping, whispering, screaming and singing in the language also known as IMEON - that’s to say that IMEON is much more than a language: IMEON is a roaming tiger. IMEON is grimacing through body and voice. IMEON is immediacy. IMEON is speaking in tongues. IMEON is speaking in music. IMEON is outpouring from deep within. IMEON cuts to the bone.
While somewhat minimal in instrumentation, there is an incredibly rewarding complexity in the sound of language , the sonic gestures, and what to me comes across as a really precise, powerful and sincere vision and intent! Noemi really hit something special here imo. The whole thing was composed, recorded, mixed and mastered by Noemi herself and will be out on streaming , Bandcamp and also on c-30 cassette tape today! - 50kr for or pop - please get in touch with either me or @noemi_schrader if you are interested in a tape and we’ll get you one.
