My book is OUT! No Prayer More Powerful is live (link in bio) and will be available for even wider release on December 4th’s full moon. But you can get a copy now, and I am so proud, even as I am so humbled by this entire experience! Questionable launching with 6 planets in retrograde, but while the writing process was all about perfection, launch has been about just going for it! So here we are, right on the heels of an emergency dental visit and massive mercury meltdowns, I bring you a dose of medicine straight from my heart to yours. No Prayer More Powerful is a memoir, a life of lessons, an unvarnished but unjaded reflection on motherhood, marriage and making a life in a foreign land. Like me & my son, she’s a Sagittarius, and, like all my children, she’s a tender winter flower, ready to bloom in every open heart. Thank you for all the support I have already received. You can look forward to more polished glimpses into the magic of this story in weeks to come. If you feel called to pick it up, I can promise you that there is something for you inside. With all my love — ❤️📖❤️

🙏🏼There is a moment in the creative process when the human hand loosens its grip, and something larger steps forward. A pulse. A whisper. A gentle nudge from the unseen.
This is the place where true co-creation begins. We often call it spontaneity. Those unexpected shifts that reroute a plan. But when we’re listening, when we’ve already signaled to spirit that we’re willing to meet it halfway, those shifts become invitations rather than disruptions. 🕯️The candle was meant to burn outside, a symbol of her inner spark. But the 🌬️Irish winds had other stories to tell. The moment the darkness opened and the wind moved through with its wild, knowing force, the path changed. We forgo resistance and embrace recognition becaue the elements weren’t closing a door, they were guiding the way to a new one. When the intention is clear, the dialogue with spirit becomes unmistakable.
🔥Make a fire.
🪞Use the mirror.
📝This is where she’ll write.
The cues weren’t dramatic. They were subtle, precise, and deeply collaborative. Like being handed pieces of a puzzle that only reveals its image once you begin to place them. And then the world around her responded.
🌱Rosemary wanted to sit with her.
🪾A branch outside echoed the very texture of her book cover.
✨Shadow played its own poetry on the wall.
💫 Flame illuminated her throat, the center of voice, truth, and expression.
Everything in the room, the light, texture, plant, reflection, it joined the story. 🌜This is the difference between searching and noticing.
🌝Between forcing an idea and allowing one to arrive.
🌛Between trying to control the moment and entering a creative field where everything becomes a collaborator. When we surrender the need to predetermine every detail, the process becomes alive again. It breathes. It moves. It reveals. 🪷And what emerges is not a replication of a plan. It is something wholly unique, unexpected, and truer than anything we could have sketched on our own. This is the magic of co-creation.
This is where the work becomes something more. Something felt ✨🤍

Starting my day flipping through my first book illustration project, “No Prayer More Powerful” which I had the absolute joy of creating artwork for. The process was an energetic collaboration between me and the author @karithewoolf where we co-created channeled images between her vision and artistic interpretation. Each of the illustrations were created in ceremony, with rose essence woven into the ink. I love working with conscious collaborators who are attuned to energy, and the process of artmaking for Kari felt deeply special… Our process together became a shared ceremony on behalf of the spirit of the book itself… that transcended time zones or physical space. Something that art-making always teaches me, and a huge reason art has become so deeply remembered into Aura Toning, is that art is alchemy. The act of creating — and the finished creation itself — is a powerful kind of energy work. I feel that deeply when working on my own pieces, commissions, and collaborations like this one. 🌹

Now is noisy. How can we cope? What if instead of constantly clearing and containing, we lovingly and ease-fully created boundaries around what comes into our field? What if we could build defences against noise so that it doesn’t even reach us? No dog whistle could ever, no misaligning frequency could penetrate our peace? We might find ourselves clearer and more grounded without doing any “work” at all. How? Maybe Walnut can show us how. #floweressences #bachflowers #protectyourpeace❤️ #flowerremedies walnut

What lasts? In conversations recently, I’ve been focusing on permanence, meaning, lasting impact and earth-centred, grounded truthfulness. The stories that stay with me have this mythic, symbolic centre that tethers them forever to the narrative arc of our human cycles here on earth. This is the kind of art I make; it is the kind of art that stays with me — so long as I don’t crowd the field with too much noise. Contemplating the earthly quality of even celestial, mythic, epic art helps me hone in on what I want to both give and receive. Sophus Helle’s The Complete Poems of Enheduanna is a good reminder of how long such art can last. I’m grateful to all those who preserve and decode the bones of human culture, and for hose who contribute to its continuation and evolution. #enheduanna #historygram #mythmonday #ancienthistory #ancientart

One of the greatest insights I’ve received into thr quality of this new age is how it requires not more information gathering, but honing of our mental faculties so we can cut through the noise. Discernment like a sword. And yes meditation and self-development tools help, but so does fiction. More on YouTube. And the best part of this reel is that it ended up being 1:11. I see you, Katie! #discernment #storytelling

Writing my own story has hands down been the most potent personal alchemy I’ve performed (which is in no way to belittle help I’ve received along the way; it’s just that taking agency over my own story is really that powerful). Owning your story, your light, your experience means that no one else does (including AI). We don’t have to cede who we were, who we are or who we are becoming to anything outside of ourselves. And if we find a way to express the process, transcendence (of some form!) is guaranteed. This is the power of art. #memoirwriting #memoirist #healingart #writergram

One of my favourite dualities could not be more on time. Recycled tropes aren’t (always!) a lapse in creativity or betting on a sure thing; continuity (and, as I explore in my own writing, repetition) gives may gifts. More detail on YouTube. #historygram #storytelling #repetition #continuity

Inspired by @mamamedicine 's post about three years without alcohol, I reflect on the triumph of creativity over unrecognised addiction over a similar period in my own life. Quitting drinking is no joke, especially in the UK where it is baked into just about every social occasion. But persisting with this decision gave me the fortitude and perspective to write my memoir, to continue to live as an artist, and to gift a new paradigm to future generations. More detail on my Substack; link in bio. x
