11/04/23-11/13/23 Hiroshima
It was Hiroshima, who came to train for the F.I.G. seminar, but it was still โIโ who wanted to experience a lot, so encountering a new person/environment came as excitement rather than tension.
It was a seminar for Asia, so people from Korea/Japan/Hong Kong/Thailand/Vietnam/Jordan/Philippines participated. The majority of the participants were talented coaches who directly coached Parkour.
In my personal feeling, it was similar to the ADAPT course published by Parkour Generations. However, I focused on more details, and as people verified through written tests participated, I was able to share a lot of thoughts and information through each otherโs opinions and discussions.
The ADAPT course felt like teaching coaching to become an educator, and dealt with the coachโs autonomy and guidance to guide students.
And the FIG course felt that the coaching process was focused on โwhy?โ for beginners rather than teaching how to teach.
There were many contents that tried to make students understand why they learned, why they had to do it, and why it was like this.
In addition, ADAPT says, โCongratulations on being a coach. If itโs like, โPlease cheer up as a park coach with good education in the future,โ The FIG seems to have a difference in the ideology of โItโs up to us to expand the base of parkour, letโs all work hard and make the future of parkour!โ
However, as a result, it is no different that what the two courses aim for is for students.
It was a short time, but I met a lot of good people on this journey, and I was happy to think about parkour and meet people I liked.
Iโm sure weโll have a chance to meet again somewhere during the parkour, and even if weโre not doing it, I think weโll be able to meet with a good relationship.
Finally, I would like to thank the management for preparing a lot for this test. Thank you :)
Good luck with every challenge you take.
