I started my last full day in Singapore by visiting the Sultan Mosque. Considered the national mosque of Singapore the current building has been around since 1932 as the previous single story mosque was torn down after a hundred years.
Across from the mosque is the Malay Heritage Centre. It covered information about the sultanates of the past and migration around the Malay world/region. I wished it had a bit more of a definition to the word Malay a d a bit more history pre-islam. Outside of the exhibition the centre was celebrating the reopening of the facility and I grabed some food from Roots by 3blokes. The heritage meal of mashed casava, pulled lamb shoulder and greens was amazing. I washed it down with a huge asam Boi.

Yesterday morning, Saturday 4/25, I got out early to visit Mount Faber before the heat of the day set it in and rain showers hitting the city. Ha. The heat was already set to fry me and the rain never came, non the less I climbed the mountain trail and visited a few spots like Alkaff Mansion where I had breakfast. After reaching that end goal I took a cab down to Vivo mall as a means to get over to Sentosa island. I grabbed some food at Food Republic before hitting the walking path over. I ended my trek at Fort Siloso.
