2 years. God. for as long as i can think of, i have always wanted to create something beautiful.
i would see artists create art, musicians compose music, architects build infrastructures and everyone in the artistic field give life to things making them extremely mesmerising.
i had always envied them, because regardless of whatever i did, i would never be able to create something similar in beauty to what they would
it took me a long time to realise, it was never about the skill. the skill was learnable.
it was always about the passion, the heart they would put into every small aspect of that work.
i had a wrong version of 'jack of all trades' in my mind. i would learn all that might interest me.
but i never put my heart into any of it
because for me back then, i did it because i couldnt fathom a universe where i didnt know how to do something others could.
however, deep down i wanted to do it because i loved seeing others do it and i wanted to add my touch to it.
and i did. it took me nearly 20 years. but i did figure out what it truly meant to create something where you are really really immersed in the process of creating something beautiful.
