Season one of The Nerve has come and gone 💥 (and so have I)

Producing a long form show like this was no small feat but @dorothyandthedolls was the team to do it with 💖 working to produce this season made me feel incredibly lucky that I’ve found myself in a place in life where I casually get to do things like judge a drag fashion runway every week
Will we do it again? It might depend on whether we can stop arguing about what next season’s color scheme will be. Stay tuned ❤️🔥
Johnny is an inter-dimensional demon-man who inhabits many timelines and eras bringing chaotic comedy and storytelling wherever he goes. He joined Dorothy and the Dolls to produce and host LFK’s premiere all king and creature show and lends his writing and character skills to many other productions around town. He loves bright colors, flashy sunglasses inside, and prancing around silly-style onstage. His favorite thing about drag is building community with fellow trans people.

This community means so much to me and I can’t thank everyone enough for supporting me and giving me space to experiment and find my way as a host, writer, and show producer this year. I’m at capacity having done nearly 50 shows this year but you can trust that next year I’m going to keep bringing people together with queer art, expanding the definition of masculinity, and innovating on what kings can do in the Midwest ❤️🔥 whether those in power like it or not 🫰🏻
