@oropelcdmx is a tiny bar that’s punching way above its weight on any given night. If you live nearby I strongly advise you make it your go-to watering hole. And if you’re just visiting the area: swing by to stumble out later, knowing that you spent your time in the right place to make wrong decisions. The bar has everything you need for a night worth a solid hangover: a fine vermouth offering (place makes an excellent vermouth tonic), a patron (@bogaradamendoza ) who sings and drinks along his eclectic playlist and – if you’re not careful – free shots served from a rubber chicken.
i for one am willing to walk a bit for a good cup of coffee. what's a bit? great question! a bit is a portmanteau of binary digit. representing a logical state with one of two possible values – generally either "1"or"0". thus one can safely assume that a bit is not very far. in fact there's a 50% chance its "farness" equals 0. back to the coffee. the wonderfully wonderful coffee shop wim – an acronym for weniger ist mehr (less is more) makes an excellent one and is willing to follow through on their name by recently relocating from 1 street down of my apartment to next door (0 streets down). thus being an unnecessary but nevertheless appreciated bit closer.
