Nigeria loses an estimated 30–40 million metric tonnes of food every year to post-harvest inefficiencies, worth about ₦3.5–₦5 trillion. Perishables are among the hardest hit.
This is why, at KAMIM Technologies, we are scaling sustainable cold chain solutions, because every crate preserved means less waste, better income for farmers, and more food reaching people. 🍅❄️

@ade_koyejo ‘s vision is bold: “Make farmers more productive.” 🌱⚡
Through @kamimtech , he provides solar-powered cold storage that reduces food waste, boosts productivity, and increases income for millions of smallholder farmers in Nigeria.
His work tackles the $9B annual loss in the food supply chain and transforms energy access for farming communities.
Last month, our Senior Executive Jackson Idikwu took the stage at the YEFFA West Africa Regional Youth Convening in The Gambia, hosted by CAPED, AGRA and the Mastercard Foundation—to spotlight KAMIM Technologies’ CoolCycle Agro Hubs.
Under the banner “Youth-Led Solutions for Resilient and Inclusive Food Systems,” Jackson shared how our sustainable cold-chain model and VAH’s zero-waste, zero-emission Sustainable Integrated Farming System (SIFS) turn every by-product into a resource, building true food resilience across Africa.
Alongside fellow delegates, he contributed to drafting the Africa Youth Climate Action Commitments for #AFSF, #ACS and #COP30, proof that collaboration is already underway.
