Vanessa and Mark!!!!! “Part 1- Midday Ice Cream & Poems”. It was, in Vanessa’s words, a “carefree, middle of the day, two kids in love” kind of wedding. It was… MAGIC, and quite literally, because the groom is a magician hehe. And the bride is a wedding photographer so you already KNOW it was a special, special day. The morning felt so easy. Vanessa sipped on coffee in her cozy socks and then moseyed over to make her bouquet. She got ready in the same room she lived in for a time, so the nostalgia was real. We met up with Mark where they poured out tears and words of love and the biggest smiles I’ve ever seen. Then we stopped for ice cream at their favorite shop— and I think every wedding should now involve a midday ice cream break!!!! Once back at the venue (a gorgeous mid-century modern family home), we took family photos that felt more like friends hugging each other. THEN THE CEREMONY. It was the most passionate ceremony I’ve ever seen!!! Tears everywhere!!! Poems! Vows! Magic tricks! I was amazed. And it was all so peaceful. Drew & Kelly exchanged vows beside the 19th-century Water Tower—a celebration that felt timeless yet entirely their own. Sunlit promises, laughter drifting through the gardens, martinis and grilled cheese bites at cocktail hour, and a night of dancing under the stars made their wedding day a luminous reflection of their love. This day was EVERYTHING I love about weddings!!!! Laetitia and Tri were so present, so happy, so at peace all day. My favorite part was their Vietnamese table visit tradition where each table lavished them with toasts, drinks (so many shots haha), love, and SO MUCH LAUGHTER. They were just laughing the whole dang night!!! It was amazing!!! Kadyn and Daniel!!! THEY ARE THE CUTEST EVER and this session with them is one of my favorites!!! They have this presence that is so gentle but so strong at the same time. Old souls, but with a beautiful playfulness. Plus, the denim outfits?! I mean!!!!! I am EAGERLY awaiting their wedding. They are just perfect 🥹
