I’ve been designing and selling greeting cards for over a year now but never got round to sharing them! i’m pretty sure all of my friends and family have now received at least one of them in that time, it’s actually impossible to be an illustrator or artist without everyone expecting a card designed by you for every occasion lol (i love it)
i’m working on some new (and silly) ones, so you all have more cards to look forward to🖤

We’re very happy to share our Workshop Schedule for CRAFTING COMMUNITY this month 🌟You may have heard that the long awaited collab between @earthgrooveevents & @togetherwemake_ox is finally here! Alongside the music lineup from @earthgrooveevents and craft stalls from @thesoftresistance here’s what you can expect from the crafting side of the day: 🫶
🌟From 3:15pm (@theconstantthreader ) will guide us through two hours of hand-stitched community quilting, you’ll learn the basics of quilting and join the group in stitching a powerful slogan quilt.
🌸 5:30pm-7:30pm (@clk_____________ ) will bring weaving inspiration, helping you craft your own handmade woven accessories.
🔮7:30-9:30pm Rounding off the workshops, the magical @kajalmistry__studio will show you how to add some sparkle to your life with a two-hour bedazzling session 🪩
🐞 Free crafts will be available for you to dip in and out of throughout the day!
🌷ALL profits from paid workshops will be donated directly to @truthbetold.live

I hosted this workshop last year and it was so lovely, sharing food stories and seeing all the ways people visually portray a recipe. I love cooking and I love drawing so it just made sense to combine the two♥️
there’s 2 sessions (5.30pm or 7pm), all materials are provided, just bring a recipe; and in case you’re wondering, you don’t have to be good at cooking and you don’t have to be good at drawing :)

Kajal Mistry is a British-Indian artist and curator based in London. Her work centres on storytelling, nostalgia, and connection, drawing inspiration from memories, food and friendship ❤️🔥
She facilitates workshops that focus on teaching accessible craft skills, encouraging creativity and community collaboration 🤝
Kajal is an artist in residence at the @palacecinemaartcollective in Kentish Town in collaboration with Hypha Studios 🖼️
Kajal is busy creating something mysterious and interactive to adorn the mezzanine area… I guess you’ll have to come find out for yourselves❓
They’ll also be lots of writing/ drawing supplies and comfy seating to relax in between dancing ✨
