Morning slice of life in Vermont this past weekend.
We hosted some friends and I always like to make an effort with fresh flowers in main areas, their bedrooms and bathrooms. My makeup area too of course. Hostess needs the mostest. Flowers (and baths!) make everything in life better. Feel free to quote me on that.
I don’t usually love hydrangeas in arrangements because they wilt so fast, but we have an abundance up here so no reason to get salty about it because I can just refresh with new ones as needed!
I’m on a smoothie kick because I’m trying to find ways to get more protein on board (carb girl for life) and then I made sure to maintain a balanced diet by whipping up some homemade from the bag cupcakes. Move over @wishbonekitchen 💅 I’m coming for ya.
My assistants currently have poor work ethic but I enjoy their company most of the time so I keep them around.
A great weekend overall. Only thing missing was more naps. By me.

A quick 24 hours in DC for a 90th birthday party 🇺🇸 🎉 It was quite the event and I felt honored to be invited. Coming up with an outfit for this was serious business, but I ended up rewearing a @khaite tuxedo jacket, top and sheer pants from my 40th.
