i didn’t grow up with much that showed me what queer intimacy was meant to look like.
this film was made to be a little piece of the map, for us — and those who love us — as we stumble towards more of what we want.

this past wk in new york was so deeply special. in between the big moments, inside i found myself reverently praising the young dreaming parts of me. they saw it first.
just two included here: with a subway map pinned to my wall on the first day living in new york in 2009 + backstage during a summer camp production of the pajama game in 1996.
