sincerely, sidney p.01 ig crop is out to get me but here it is, the start of my test run comic. if you want a nicer look you can also read it over at kairolan.blogspot.com! i'll likely be updating there first. to be honest, a couple weeks ago i was feeling very embarrassed about this. all my storytelling structures, my checks and balances that are tried and true to ensure i'm telling the best story i can, all i learned in film school, i decided to throw out the window with this story, because i knew if i didn't the story would never be told and would continue to torment me for many more years. and so, i truly am winging it with this one which is why i feel so nervous but i'm also having a lot of fun drawing it so heck LET ME JUST TORTURE YOU GUYS WITH MY BRAINWORMS just stick around a little to see where this story actually goes with me :) after this one is done i'll make a properly fleshed out yaoi i promise!! #sincerelysidney #comic #oc

12.27.2025 UPDATE: Our team has been working really hard over this past year and I'm happy to share that we're wrapping up our storyboard revisions! We are expected to start the new year with a full animatic edit and can begin preparing for animation. We've already begun blocking animation for a teaser that we hope to release in a few months, and our crowdfunding campaign will follow soon after. Expect to start seeing more from us in 2026! miku expo has completely reignited my love for vocaloid i'm in middle school again :'D after your introductory "world is mine" and "butterfly on your right shoulder" i think my immediate next song was "electric angel" the rin and len version which was my favorite song for the longest time and had me obsessed with them I WAS A HUGE KAGAMINE TWINS BIAS THEY HAD THE BEST SONGS the only digital drawing (of rin) i have the file of now is from 2015... though records show i had even more pieces and a lot of traditional stuff cuz i used to draw them in art class 😅😅 BUT I GUESS IT HAS BEEN A WHILE since they graced my canvas but i'm having a blast i missed them a lot :') ... #kagaminerin #kagaminelen #vocaloidfanart

AND THAT'S A WRAP ON @castlepointanime !! i'm so honored to have been able to table at castle point!! i had such a great time getting to catch up with so many friends, but also getting to meet many new people local to the NY+NJ area! a couple fun stats: this may have been one of the 2-3 times aoba has won against madoka, and it was by 5 dollars!! THAT'S REALLY GOOD FOR HIM i did a total of 20 commissions in two days with a total of 29 characters. that's kinda crazy. proud of myself i think i've improved a lot since i started!! this is the last event for vending that i have lined up for now, but i'm hoping there will be more good news later in the year! in the mean time though... i have some events and workshops i've been cooking... sincerely, sidney p.02 i refuse to conform to ig crop so you can read the spreads in their full glory at kairolan.blogspot.com !! this update is admittedly short. not a lot of dialogue and not a lot going on, but i think the next update is going to start getting more... confusing so i see this as me self indulgently setting the stage with some normalcy :) perhaps, a calm before,, before sudden deviations? all of my photography research was primarily through watching Brandon Woelfel's videos and studying his work. i've followed him since i was in high school, when i first decided this character would even touch a camera and needed to do my own research, but continue to watch him to this day simply out of curiosity. it kind of feels full circle to finally put all of that to use! #sincerelysidney #comic #oc

IT's BEEN FOUR YEARS!! i'm so happy to finally share this piece that i made for @'orvArcana back in 2022 with the world! this zine would not have been pulled across the finish line without all of @krescentdrops 's hard work! this project was ghosted by the entire mod team except for kim who had to rebuild EVERYTHING to get this zine made. this is the first piece where i used the color layering technique that is present in many of my pieces from this time. though i no longer use it anymore, i am still fond of how vibrant it allowed my colors to be, and how much fun it was to puzzle the colors together. the composition of this piece is also one that i am still quite proud of. i was tasked with the card: the moon, which someone within the discord presented the idea of using this specific scene to capture that "projecting of fears and illusions" or a "painful memory resurfacing." i also remember there being a point about reflections, with the moon being reflected in the water, so i came up with two separate concepts: the reflection in the eye > matching the circular shape of the moon OR using the casting of shadow as that "projection of fears." ultimately i wanted to find a way to merge these two compositions together, and that's what resulted in this piece! ... #omniscientreadersviewpoint #omniscientreader #orv #전독시 #kimdokja
