2025 — a year I’m not convinced I’d do all over again but one I’m deeply grateful for

my 2025 bingo card did not see this coming!
We opened Marjorie Prime a few weeks ago and it marked my Broadway debut! Incredibly grateful to be the Assistant Sound Designer on this project and to work with such a wonderful, hardworking, and kind sound team. Thank you @danielklugermusic for bringing me on board!
the BRT Sound Fellowship 24/25 archive — It started just over a year ago and life has moved so fast since! Grateful to have contributed to the season’s productions and met some of my favorite people along the way
In 2019, my theater teacher, Patrick Garcia, took my class to watch Cambodian Rock Band at La Jolla Playhouse. I was captivated by the music and the powerful role of sound in storytelling. Fast forward to 2022, and I found myself working in the Forum Theater, supporting the Young Performer’s Conservatory. Just over a month ago, I stood in the same space, graduating from UCSD with a degree in ICAM Music and a minor in Theater. Now, I am filled with immense gratitude as I return to this space once more, this time as part of the run crew for Derecho. The Forum Theater has truly been the backdrop to my journey, shaping my path in ways I never imagined. Thank you, @lajollaplayhouse , for inspiring me to find my place in the theater and for supporting my development as an artist and technician.
And a special thanks always to @pappy_g for fostering a beautiful and enriching theater community. The foundation I built under his guidance continues to motivate and inspire me.
