Celebrating 80 years of @espmartell Esperanza Martell’s life on this planet! What a gift to have known and learned from her for well over 20 of those years, and may we be blessed with at least another 20 years more! Also grateful for all of the people Espe has brought closer to my life, including our bday party planning committee Mariposa, Kaila, Jack and Tamar.

Peace Family. Tomorrow we are supporting a food distribution and resource fair for the residents of Boston Secor Houses whose homes were destroyed by the massive fire this year. It is further up in the Bronx but if any of you are passionate about food justice and access and want to come and support by volunteering to help distribute the food the event will be bringing a lot of hope and joy to families experiencing very rough times
