At the @saccidananda_yoga fasten retreat, we've also built bonfires and chanted mantras below the stars alongside the chirping birds. Very tender, very wholesome.
So yeah, even though it's fasting, we were in touch with food. We created a highly diluted juice every day around lunch time, as well as cooking up a highly diluted stock in the evening.
Somehow, I could control and easily not eat the goods, even though usually I suffer from low self-control when it comes to food (and addictive things). I believe it's the clear goal of not eating for 7 days, the challenge, the peer group and lifestyle, which is completely outside my everyday life.
The last slide is a photo of our two plates that we have been breaking the fast with.

Also, "stop eating after your first burp" is a game-changer. See if you even have the awareness to notice that one.
