Dear Sunflower,
We miss your beautiful mother.
And we know you miss her too.
She was so golden, so warm,
so yellow and so calm.
Her embrace took away the chills,
Her stay lengthened the day,
We spent more time with your Mother Nature,
When she were out to play.
Dear little sunflower,
It’s okay to weep,
Water yourself again,
When your tears run down deep.
A short poem accompanied by an animation of a drawing I drew today, about reminiscing summer + self growth.
yesterday I felt called to give the sea an offering of a dance. maybe living on a boat i get to sit and talk to her more often than most. she was charged with full moon last week. felt I must return some thankful energy to her for changing our emotions so often.
Illustrated the song title and band graphic for Kitchen Lover. Leant into a blood-dripping gruesome aesthetic for this distorted, twisted circus track xox

Grateful to contribute something that sits right with the grit and spectacle for Kitchen Lover.
