Learning DaVinci Resolve can feel overwhelming at first… but these are some of the creators that really helped me figure things out. Sam Kolder - @samkolder His course is packed with value. He breaks things down properly and even shares practical shortcuts that actually speed up your workflow. Casey Faris - @casey_faris_gc If you’re on YouTube trying to learn Resolve, you’ve probably come across him. Straightforward tutorials and very beginner-friendly. Think Media - @officialthinkmedia Solid channel for creators. They cover a lot, and their Resolve content is a good place to start if you’re figuring things out. These are some of the resources that helped me navigate my journey. If you’re learning Resolve, this might save you a lot of time. . . . #DaVinciResolve #Edits #VideoEditing #Filmmaking #ContentCreator

If you’re using DaVinci Resolve… these free plugins might change your workflow. Not everything needs to be paid; some of the tools I use the most are actually free, and they’ve saved me a lot of time while editing. Here are some of them: Free Starter Pack V2 by Video Editor Studio (VES) Transitions, effects, and presets to speed things up. Snap Captions by Orson Lord Auto captions with clean styles; perfect for reels. Asset Blaster by European Filmmaker Quick animations for logos and graphics without stress. Magic Zoom / Animate / Subtitles by MrAlex Tech Smooth zooms, motion, and subtitles without keyframing. Free presets & effects by Patrick Stirling Creative tools to add more life to your edits. These aren’t just plugins… they’re time-savers. If you’re editing consistently, this might make your process a lot smoother. If your colors still feel off… this might help. Learning color grading can feel like guesswork at first, but these are some of the creators that helped me actually understand what I’m doing inside DaVinci Resolve. Waqas Qazi - @theqazman Straight to the point. No fluff. His breakdowns helped me understand what’s happening behind the grade, not just what buttons to press. Cullen Kelly - @cullenkellycolor This is where things really clicked for me. He teaches structure; how to approach grading step by step, especially with color management. Completely changed my workflow. Darren Mostyn - @onlinecreativepost Super clear explanations. The kind that just makes everything easier to understand without overcomplicating it. These are some of the resources that helped me go from guessing… to actually grading with intention. If you’re learning color grading in DaVinci Resolve, this might save you a lot of time. I’ve been experimenting with the DGX lights from @camerajoint across different productions and I can’t lie… they’ve been holding up. At ₦165K each, these are easily some of the most affordable 300W COB and 150W LED mat lights out right now; especially for the kind of output you’re getting. in frame: @aknwmi Location: @thefotoindustry Gear Breakdown: Key Light: DGX FL150X Background Lights: DGX FF300XS & Ulanzi Magnetic Tube Lights Camera: Fujifilm X-T5 + Viltrox 27mm f1.2 . . . #2026 #light #interview #cinematic #lighting
