This spontaneous film collaboration of movement and poetry with my dear & gifted friend @mathildelaprte 1.5yrs ago in Switzerland has finally made its way to your eyes and ears. We hope this project blesses you uniquely wherever you’re at in life ✨ My thoughts behind this piece have only deepened with time, in every chapter since shooting, but the truth remains.. “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” ‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ ‭ This journey of surrender to God whose ways are higher, who is truth, goodness and love, is often complex to explain. In the world there is contradiction, two things that oppose each other.. whereas, with God, two things can co-exist paradoxically, creating this “duality.” For example: I’m constantly learning deeper, how true strength doesn’t lie in one’s own ability to “do” but rather, in one’s ability to surrender and depend on God in weakness. We don’t need to have it all figured out because God already does and wants us to lean on all that He already is. It’s embedded in our design. On the other hand, there is a kind of duality where you can experience the depth of grief and overwhelming emotions in life’s trials, yet supernaturally feel a quiet peace in your spirit by the grace of God alone. Incredible joy and immense grief can somehow both mark the same chapter in your life. Or there’s the assurance that there is a season for all things… “a time to tear and a time to mend… a time to mourn and a time to dance… a time to be silent and a time to speak…” (Ecclesiastes 3). Life itself holds much of this duality in tension. Yet, with an open heart and surrender, God’s revelation and wisdom provide answers to the deep burning questions inside our souls in time if we trust Him and seek Him (who IS love, truth, goodness, purity, etc) above all else. His overview and intentions for our lives are beyond what we can imagine in our limited perspective. He put our deepest desires in our hearts. Who can know our hearts better than the one who formed us in our mother’s womb? I’ll gladly humble myself, take the passenger seat and let Jesus take the wheel. Wherever He tells me, I’m going 🛵💨

Teaching & Training❤️‍🔥 pour out, fill up🍶 This heels piece (“Blow My Mind” by @limoblaze_ ) is about being clay molded by God into something beautiful. He’s the refiner of our character. Like fire purifies silver, he purifies us to be more like him. The way he does this is so intricately orchestrated that it’s always mind-blowing when you can finally see what he’s doing in you or in others. For this reason, I don’t delay in being obedient when he speaks. He views us as precious and valuable beyond what we can comprehend. He calls us by name, gives us an identity in him before he forms us in our mother’s womb, and gave us purpose in this life, even when/if things may feel meaningless. Even when others don’t see you, God sees every part of you and still counts you worthy of love, worthy of his grace and mercy, worthy of his time and attention, worthy of living. He’s always waiting on our “yes” with open arms ready to receive us exactly as we are in every moment. To be honest with ourselves and trust in his leadership so he can heal us removing shame & guilt, and transform us through his ways that are above our human wisdom, above our own perception of goodness. It’s not about a “pretty” or “perfect” looking journey or becoming self-righteous. It’s about earnestly seeking truth and to know the one who is love so you can also be love, know how to love deeper. Our capacity to love is defined by the depth to which we understand the perfect love that comes from God loving us. The gospel, Jesus demonstrates that for us. I mean God is the one who invented love!! We all need that guidance, for our whole lives. There’s no graduating in faith, just progress📈 I found Christ when I was broken, only believing in a superficial way in God when things were seemingly “good” in my life, career, relationships etc. Whether you’re in a good place or down bad rn, God can and wants to bring you higher🪽there’s always somewhere higher to go, so we always have hope through him.
