Why is getting people to sign up for a 5K harder than the actual 5K 😭😂

HERE’S THE FUN PART!!
I’m letting YOU decide how I give it away 🎁

Should I…

• Make you earn it at the 5K? 😏
• Do something completely unhinged??
(But honestly… I lowkey love the “comment to win” idea soo… 😂)
I’ll pick my favorite idea & maybe a winner from the comments 🤭

If you think running 3.1 miles sounds hard, losing the ability to walk on your own is harder.
Many stroke survivors experience weakness or paralysis on one side of the body, depending on which side of the brain is affected. That’s a big reason why I push health so much and why I’m hosting a 5K for stroke awareness.
I know running can feel intimidating, but you have to start somewhere. Baby steps. Even if it’s just 30 minutes a day walking, light jogging, whatever you can do.
We have 76 days left. This is your sign to start now. Not to be perfect, but to feel better, get healthier, and be ready for summer.
I’ll be right there with you.

Most people don’t think about the effects of a stroke… until it happens to someone they love.
Five years ago, my dad suffered a life threatening stroke that changed everything for our family and left my father disabled. Even today, we’re still navigating the challenges that come with it. But with that came my love for health and fitness.
That’s why I created the Move for Ji Stroke Awareness 5K.
This event is more than just a run, it’s about raising awareness, supporting families, and bringing our community together in a meaningful and healthy way. I’m proud to share that we’re partnered with KABLE Inc. (Korean American Brothers & Sisters in Law Enforcement), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
If this event can help even one person take their health more seriously, or help one family feel less alone, it’s worth it.
I’d truly love your support whether that’s running, walking, or simply sharing this with someone who needs to see it.
