Since 2016 Sabine works at
@oyerecordstore in Berlin. She is taking care of all OYE club events, OYE radio shows and also all Instores happening at one of the record shops. Since January 2023 she is hosting the OYE Podcast series.
OYE is one of Berlin’s most respected and enduring institutions for vinyl culture, rooted in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg. More than just a record store, it functions as a vital hub for DJs, collectors, and music lovers, a place where discovery, community, and sound come together.
Its selection reflects a distinct and evolving identity: increasingly, lots of jazz, off-beat, free-form, often Afro-centric, alongside hip-hop, electronic music, a bit of indie, ambient, Brazil, and rare grooves. Rather than chasing trends, OYE focuses on depth, character, and musical perspective, with every record chosen through a deeply informed and personal lens.
