Bar Lenie maakt doorstart met Kaapse Brouwers
Deze zomer opende tijdens het EK vrouwenvoetbal in juli Bar Lenie, Nederland's eerste vrouwensportsbar.
De pop-up werd een geliefde bar voor liefhebbers van vrouwensport en bood een fijne en veilige ontmoetingsplek. Kaapse Brouwers was partner vanaf het begin en produceerde speciaal voor de gelegenheid het bier ‘Kaapse Lenie’.
Marijn Hermans (Bar Lenie): "We begonnen Bar Lenie omdat we zelf zo'n plek misten en omdat zichtbaarheid voor vrouwen in sport hard nodig is. Tijdens het EK zagen we dat de behoefte aan een plek als deze groot is. We zijn blij weer samen met Kaapse Brouwers op te trekken, twee like-minded partijen: een goede match."
Na afloop van het EK was het direct duidelijk: Lenie moet door. Kaapse Brouwers stelt daarop één van de drie eigen horecazaken open: Kaapse Will’ns. Altijd al een vrijplaats voor open-minded, avontuurlijke en creatieve geesten.
Sebastiaan Boas (Kaapse Brouwers): "Lenie liet zien dat Rotterdam behoefte heeft aan een plek waar vrouwensport, vrijheid en verbinding samenkomen. Wij zijn trots dat we op deze manier kunnen bijdragen en zijn ervan overtuigd dat dit een succesverhaal wordt."
Vanaf 1 november strijkt Bar Lenie neer in de Kaapse Will'ns aan de Nieuwe Binnenweg.
Iedereen is welkom.

They met each other in a bar named Bonaparte, they left the place in Jeff ‘s sport car, went on a bender. The sparks were flying across the car and since then they went on different ventures. They found each other in music and are secretly making songs for some time now. Still a bit shy to spread their love for music and be open for a wild ride, but the songs are never gonna leave your head once you listen to them.

Currently based in Rotterdam, Indigo Chamber’s indie pop fuses blissful nostalgia and silky psychedelia with earnest, personal songwriting. Whilst getting lost in the hallways of this mirror palace, you might hear eerie sounds reminiscent of early Julee Cruise, Mild High Club, and the Cocteau Twins. Their music is deeply emotional and dissociative at once, ridden with lovesick melancholy for days long gone
At the day program of Left of The Dial hosted by Far Out Sessions, they will be playing an intimate solo set on acoustic guitar, stripping down their music to its intimate core.
