Projekt Heelies dokazuje, da se lahko tudi hotelski copati spremenijo v modni statement. Nastajajo iz reciklirane volne starih puloverjev, vsak par je unikaten, brez dodatnega barvanja, s tem pa po navedbah snovalcev prihranijo do 50 litrov vode na par. Posebnost? Visoka peta, ki klasičen hotelski copat premakne v povsem novo, bolj premišljeno in izkustveno kategorijo luksuza.
Prve serije že uporabljajo v Hotelu Bohinj in Vili Muhr, projekt pa odpira tudi širše vprašanje, kako lahko trajnost v turizmu postane ne le odgovorna, ampak tudi estetsko privlačna. 💚

Je kreativno podjetništvo v Sloveniji res samo “sanjska služba”? 🤔
Pogosto imamo idilično predstavo o malih kreativnih studiih in obrtnikih. Vidimo končni izdelek, ne vidimo pa celega procesa. Ekipa Made in Slovenia nas je postavila pred izziv: kako ujeti tiste prave “pain pointe” in hkrati tiste najslajše nagrade tega procesa?
Prevozili smo različne konce Slovenije in pri delu ujeli izjemne ustvarjalce, obrtnike in podjetnike ✨ @kaaita@vrtnarstvotement@pero_furniture@juhakeramika in @doranzna . Vsak od njih piše svojo uspešno zgodbo, ki jo je s svojim prepoznavnim glasom in noto iskrenosti povezal Joseph Nzobandora - Jose. 🎤

One change led to another, and a newly reimagined studio is taking shape.
With the help of architect @matejgasperic from Biro Gašperič, and his colleague Ana Klofutar, we stepped back and looked at our space with fresh eyes. Ana created a wooden studio model — tiny blocks standing in for our tables, machines and Positivity Boxes — and we moved them around… and around… until the layout finally clicked.
No big interventions.
No excess.
Just an outside perspective that helped us see new possibilities in what we already had.
Thank you, Ana. We’re beyond impressed by your listening skills, attentiveness, and attention to every tiny detail in the studio.

It was a good year.
Not the loud kind. The meaningful one.
Scrolling through these photos — people working, learning, eating cake, laughing — brings back memories both captured and uncaptured. Writing this post reminded me of moments that never made it to the camera, yet somehow matter the most.
What makes it feel like a good year?
The people.
We’ve built something that attracts kind, curious humans who enjoy thinking, making, sharing — and occasionally stopping for cake. Coworkers, professors and students, long-time and brand-new partner hotels, corporate clients, and individual customers. Different worlds, same energy.
There were focused working days and messy tables, honest conversations and new hotels joining our journey, plenty of orders (thank you!), our first workshop, lectures, podcasts, collaborations with universities — and above all, creative projects where we were allowed to dream first and figure things out later.
Not everything was documented.
But everything was felt.
Thank you for being part of our year — in meetings, workshops, emails, ideas, orders, conversations, and cake breaks.
