It’s been nearly three months since “Feeling Emotions Losing Time” (FELT) dropped, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect.
For Christmas 2021, my aunt and uncle surprised me with a record player and a vinyl of my first EP. When I received it, I definitely held back tears 😭 because I was touched by how thoughtful their gift is.
And over time, the vinyl has taken on even more meaning. It reminds me of where I started… and how far I’ve come.
FELT explores the emotions that distort time: the ones that stretch a moment out or keep us stuck where we are.
That’s the thread between then and now, past and present: time. It has a way of slipping past us, being drawn out in the silence, and teaching us things we didn’t know we needed. And if we’re lucky, we grow in between it all. ❤️
