Styling tip: the power of grouping ✨
When it comes to creating a space that feels calm, intentional and elevated, it’s not just what you style, but how you place it.
Our eyes are naturally drawn to clusters rather than scattered pieces. Grouping objects together creates a visual moment, giving the eye somewhere to land and rest. It brings clarity, balance and a sense of cohesion to your space.
Think in small collections of 3 or 5, varying heights, textures and shapes to keep things interesting while still feeling connected. A stack of books, a sculptural object, and a soft organic element like greenery can instantly transform a surface.
Less clutter, more considered moments. That’s where the magic happens.

A calm, considered palette with a subtle nod to Japandi style.
This moodboard brings together soft greens, warm neutrals and natural textures to create a space that feels both grounded and refined. The balance of clean lines and organic elements is key, pairing structured forms with tactile finishes for a look that feels effortless yet intentional.
Brushed finishes sit alongside handmade textures, while layered tones of green introduce a sense of calm and connection to nature. The result is a bathroom that feels warm, minimal and quietly elevated.
A beautiful blend of simplicity, function and natural detail.

Neutral bathrooms don’t have to feel flat. It’s all about layering the right elements.
In this space, the tiles and benchtop already bring beautiful texture, while the brushed nickel tapware and soft curves set the tone for the overall design. So when styling, the focus was on enhancing what’s already there.
I kept everything soft and cohesive with neutral dried stems, warm amber tones and consistent accessories, then layered in texture through towels and natural materials to add depth without overpowering the space.
It’s a great example of how thoughtful styling can elevate a neutral palette and make it feel warm, considered and complete.

5 simple ways to style your bathroom like a stylist ✨
1. Start with a tray
A tray instantly makes a bathroom feel styled. Place a soap dispenser, candle and small plant together to create a neat, intentional vignette on the vanity.
2. Add one natural element
Bathrooms often have a lot of hard surfaces. A small plant, greenery stem or timber accessory softens the space and makes it feel more inviting.
3. Keep the palette simple
Stick to two or three tones that already exist in the bathroom. For example, white, timber and brushed brass. This keeps everything cohesive and calm.
4. Style with everyday items
Use things that are both beautiful and practical. Refillable soap dispensers, folded towels or a diffuser can elevate the space without adding clutter.
5. Create height and balance
Mix items of different heights like a candle, a small vase and a soap dispenser. This creates visual interest while still keeping the styling minimal.

The value of a functional vignette ✨
A well-considered vignette is more than a styling moment. It’s a small, intentional composition that brings both beauty and purpose into a space. When done well, it creates a sense of calm and order while supporting how the room is actually used day to day.
In bathrooms and living spaces alike, we think about scale, balance and function first. A tray to anchor everyday items, a vessel or plant to soften hard finishes, and one or two tactile elements to add warmth. Every piece earns its place.
The key is restraint. Functional vignettes should feel effortless, not over-styled. They work best when they reflect the rhythm of daily life while quietly elevating the overall design.
Small moments, thoughtfully layered, can completely transform how a space feels.

A moment of material harmony, inspired by our Avalon project.
Deep red Rosso Levanto marble, rich veining and warm undertones form the foundation, softened with creamy Grand Piano Half neutrals, sculptural forms and tactile finishes. Gloss tiles add depth and light play, while layered textures and subtle lines keep the palette feeling considered rather than heavy.
This is where contrast does the work. Bold but grounded. Refined yet relaxed. A reminder that strong colour can feel timeless when paired thoughtfully.
A quiet nod to Avalon, and the material story behind it.
