Week Two:
How do you even begin to capture 18 days in 6 minutes?
This trip gave me more than I could have expected—it strengthened the foundation of what I hope for, both professionally and personally. It fed my mind, but just as much, it fed my soul.
In those 18 days, I visited 26 museums (some more than once), had conversations that will stay with me for a long time, and met people I genuinely hope remain part of my life and career moving forward—people I admire, and aspire to be like.
More than anything, this experience solidified the path I’ve chosen. It reminded me why I’m doing this, and where I want to go.
I’ll be reflecting on this trip for a long time—and I’m deeply grateful for every moment, every space, and every person who made it what it was.
Week One :

Seviche’s Dinner and a Movie has once again proven a most delightful triumph. Over the course of five enchanting evenings, guests gathered by candlelight to partake in a romantic supper while the beloved Pride & Prejudice graced the screen. Chef Lamas presented a bill of fare worthy of the Regency table itself, featuring delicate poached salmon, chicken accompanied by pickled grapes, and a most exquisite raspberry trifle to conclude the meal. It was, by every account, an evening of elegance and fond remembrance, and one imagines even Mrs. Bennet herself would declare the company perfectly satisfied and exceedingly happy. #seviche #sevichedinnerandmovie #chefanthonylamas #eventswithflair
Well, better late than never, we say with a shout,
Just one day before snowflakes came swirling about!
Thin flakes! Fat flakes! Wet flakes that blow,
A stormy white whoosh from the sky down below.
But here was our dinner, our movie, our cheer,
A holiday moment we stretched out for days (and in our hearts for years!).
We watched as the Grinch learned what kindness can do,
His heart growing bigger—three times, it’s true!
So we laughed and we feasted and felt oh-so-tall,
Proof joy can outgrow even winter’s cold call.
