Well it seems we've got ourselves a very unexceptional motor. Pete drove to The Wirral two weekends on the trot, to view and then purchase this delightful Volvo 240.
A little footage from our convoy journey home with it. The M6 Toll is great for this as there is always no one around.
Also amazing what you can do with a bit of dashcam footage.
Looking forward to driving it this summer, yes, it's that unexceptional that it's an automatic!

It's hard to believe that it's been a year already, especially when I can remember every bit of that day like it was yesterday.
Not a day has gone by when you haven't been thought of.
You'll forever be a part of our lives and I hope that we've done you proud, and that the finished workshop is up to your standards!
I promise I will let Pete turn it back from a party venue into a workshop and fill it with machinery at some point, but do I have to take down the disco ball??!

Latest cake creation. It was @lindaneill83 's big 40 and I thought what do you make for a Scot when you've already done a can of Irn Bru? A moggie noo of course (that's a highland cow to probably everyone bar me and the birthday girl).
I had an issue with saggy horns but I think it held up okay in the end!!

This bit of tape has been stuck to this signpost for nearly 3 months.
In the beginning I didn't really notice it, as the accident was all consuming and that was all I thought about. But now I guess it would be described as a trigger.
There is still not a day that goes by that I don't think about the accident but sometimes I'll just be driving home from the supermarket, see this little bit of tape and I'm back at that day again.
I've decided it needs to go.
By removing it I'm not trying to forget, I will never forget, but I'm just trying to make my journey up the road a little bit easier. I know it's only delaying the inevitable as I'll be reminded of it again in about a hundred metres but that's an extra hundred metres of calm, and I'll take anything I can get.
