Can an insurance brand be “hardcore”? ⚡️ In a category traditionally defined by passive “peace of mind,” our team saw a unique opportunity to disrupt the narrative for Cigna Healthcare. This wasn’t just another ad campaign; it was a strategic branding assignment designed to resonate with the high-energy, resilient lifestyle of a new generation in Hong Kong. Cigna Healthcare x HYROX Our strategy was to move Cigna from being a “safety net” to a “performance partner.” To bring this to life, we looked past the finish line and the elite athleticism to explore the psychology behind The Cignature Move. By collaborating with On Chan (陳健安), Cecilia Yeung (楊文蔚), Ryan Whelan, and Zein Williams, we produced a series of raw, emotional stories. These narratives serve as a reminder that every health journey—and every Cignature Move—begins long before the starting gun goes off. We believe that true support isn’t just about being there when things go wrong; it’s about providing the confidence to push boundaries. By leaning into an “aspirational hardcore” aesthetic, we are helping Cigna break the mold, leading the insurance market into a more energetic and proactive era.
