where do i even begin?!
the creation of this album has truly been a journey and a life changing experience. i met @asaprocky back in 2020 thru my brother @robertgallardo . i’d be a liar if i said i saw any of this happening from the first time we met. i was just happy to create with someone who i admired and listened to growing up.
thank you rocky for trusting me with this masterpiece! you allowed me to pick the tracklist, produce, write, sing & not once did you stifle my creativity — the best idea won, no matter who it was from. it was truly free-flowing, egoless creativity. you pushed me to my limits and from pressure grew diamonds… 17 diamonds, which are currently available on all DSPs.
in my personal life, i experienced tremendous loss during the creation of this album as well as substantial growth. trusting God became a necessity, not a choice. i have love and admiration for ALL of the creatives and collaborators i’ve met during this process. it’s been a real pleasure to learn from bonafide legends.
& last but certainly not least, s/o to the whole AWGE team. we did it! 😭
