Shelshi, Harbinger of Blizzards
Thought I would post this to coincide with my Antarctica piece.
Being one of the lesser-known Reapers amongst the Harbingers, Shelshi only makes an appearance before a deep freeze and significant blizzard. Amongst the colder and mountainous regions of the world, he is seen as a symbol of death. With his significant physical resistance to warmer weather, he has found it difficult to leave Antartica for long periods of time. As a result, he prefers to reside by local scientific laboratories that conduct research into the weather of the continent. He’s very knowledgeable in the Antarctic winds and water currents.
His scythe’s blade is made of pure ice, completely unable to melt even in the harshest of sunlight. It’s capable of slicing through any living being with ease, though he prefers to use the weapon as a force of threat - not of use.
The loneliness of Antarctica has eaten at his mind. He’s awkward, stares, comments at inappropriate times. To make up for it, he’s developed a juvenile sense of humor that the rest of his Harbinger friends have grown used to. Mostly, it is at the expense of his friends.
Dragon! Still working on her design to be more faithful to the DC/Gorge poster but here’s what I got right now; I really like drawing her Gorge bipedal version. Definitely want to give her some more car engine influence though.

Sorry for not posting here as often as I used to. I’ve currently taken on a very ambitious creative project (eeee!) and I won’t be sharing much about it until I feel ready to. This dude is a part of it. Just wanted to share a little snippet of what I’ve been up to.
Dedicated to my sweet old lady, Patches
Born July 2007, she was originally a catch-neuter-release. She stuck with her litter downstairs until the fall. We kept her and her mother; her siblings are safe with other family.
She always stuck downstairs by her mother’s - Momma’s - side. They were completely inseparable, outside of the times when Momma would come up and stare at /my/ mom whenever Patches was in a predicament.
Momma passed a few years later and Patches called the basement her home. She never came out and ran at even the sound of a person. My mom worked so hard to get her out of her shell. By the time my brother moved downstairs, she adjusted to us and became more social. When he moved out, she moved upstairs to live with us.
She was a very vocal kitty. There was not a day where you wouldn’t hear her distinct myaaaah. Whether it would be for food or snuggles, she would be at your feet screaming her tiny little lungs out. It wouldn’t matter if it was the middle of the night, either. I would wake up at 4 in the morning every night whenever my dad got up to feed her - she was just that loud.
I became her person. She would claw at my door and beg to be let in. In the summer, I would let her sit by my window to catch the warmth and watch the birds. She loved doing that. Upon returning from vacation, I would find a suspiciously Patches-shaped spot of fur at the foot of my bed.
In her twilight years, she grew tired. She didn’t go downstairs as much and needed assistance with a lot of things. The upstairs became her home, whether it be by the kitchen sink or in the sunroom during the warmer months. She would always sleep and sit on my stuff whenever I wasn’t around.
My friends would hear her distinct hellos whenever I stopped in the kitchen when I was on call with them. She grew to love people and their company and was surrounded by me and my family when she passed yesterday.
19 1/2 years is a hell of a long time for a kitty. She left us knowing she was loved. I never left her side. She’s back with her Momma now, that’s for sure. The house is a lot quieter without her.

I started working on a comic in late 2024 with the goal of retelling the story I began working on 6 years prior. I then got really invested in my King Gizzard work so I stopped the project.
I don’t have any plans to finish or continue this, so I’ll leave it at that. I would also consider the work on the characters’ world and universe finished, too.
I’ve got another similar cool project on the way butttt I won’t be posting about it for a while. That’s all. Hope you enjoy (:
Hi all, bit of a different post this time around.
After ~3 months, I’ve decided to scrap this piece.
It was originally going to come right after my Motor Spirit poster, but I got caught up in other things and eventually it fell behind. ~24h of work, if you’re curious.
This piece was very ambitious from the start. I never properly drew in perspective before (perspective grids are merely a suggestion to me) so it was quite challenging to even figure out what the hell I was doing.
I’ve since familiarized myself with this character’s design and some other technical stuff-things so.. this piece isn’t /entirely/ scrapped 😉
Just wanted to share it with you all. This also would’ve went on my main but I’m kinda strict about what I post there vs here hehe
