Being in the film industry, I try not to fanboy around celebrities, as it's not the best form. But as a longtime UFC fan (my Dad started me on UFC 2!), I admit I was a little eager to try to meet Michael Bisbing when he was in Calgary shooting a local action indie. I even extended an invite to watch a UFC event at the Polyscope warehouse, but alas, he had prior commitments. Well, it was to my great surprise and satisfaction when @chadrook sent me this video yesterday. He was slyly good enough to ask Bisbing to send me a shout out, and @mikebisbing , to my astonishment, was cool enough to oblige. That this busy professional who owes me absolutely nothing would be kind enough to take time out of his day for a stranger means a lot, and I appreciate tremendously. Chad - thank you, my man. And Michael, here's hoping our paths do cross one day down the road.

Happy Last Second Valentine's Wishes! I've enjoyed a little nostalgia lately with my kids' book series, and my lovely sister @limtanyawan reminded me I wrote a Valentine's book among 'em. So I'ma post page 1 of "The Valentine's Day" before the holiday is officially over, just for fun. πŸ™‚

Hello Friends, Most of the people who see this post will know me through the madcap film industry I inhabit, but in another, sweeter life, I also write/produce a series of children's books. For the last decade, I've had the pleasure of working with the preposterously talented @hhama2908 on a series called The Kidsburgh Chronicles, and this project - in the life of a person who is always producing a new project - is my favourite thing that I do. So though the books aren't famous (yet) and the crowds don't know, Henry and I pay service to our passion project by reading them in schools, and, from time to time, showing up at bookstores to sign copies for young readers. And today just happens to be such a day! So if by some coincidence you find yourself with nothing to do on a Saturday morning, why don't you pop by the Indigo Southtrail between 10:30am-12:30pm today, and say hello?!

Welcome to Carrington! Tonight's hailstorm was a reminder of the might and majesty of Mother Nature. Going to be a giant insurance claim from this side of the city in the coming days...! Hopefully everyone managed to stay safe πŸ™

Hello Instagram, Every year or so, I feel I ought to make an obligatory post, just to let the interwebs know I'm alive. I was a little reluctant to post these pics because, frankly, this first hike of the year tried to murder me, but now that it's behind me, it's too good a recollection not to. Love going up mountains with these boys, hoping we can do so a couple more times in 2024.

/2023/10/shannon-elizabeth-and-daniel-cudmore-star-in-trailer-for-a-home-for-the-holidays/ This here film is the directorial debut of my good friend and Polyscope producing partner, Kyle Cooper, the most steadfast and amicable human being on this orbiting Earth. Very proud of the work he did, and can't wait to see his next one! A big thanks to the cast and crew that helped us make this little beauty. ❀️ And of course to Michael Walker, for setting this up...πŸ™

Nearly one year with this beauty, and it still feels like the honeymoon stage. Is that normal?

Sneakily filmed my sister a couple of years ago, testing a piano we shot up in a series we made. Rewatching two years later, I think it merits sharing πŸ™‚
