Yesterday, over 100 Jews and allies shut down Palantir’s office in South Lake Union, Seattle. We demanded WA divest billions of dollars from genocide profiteers, including from Palantir.
WA invests billions of dollars in genocide profiteers. That means our futures—from our educations to our retirements—are directly invested in deportation and genocide. We put our bodies on the line to say: our funds should be invested in futures of collective liberation, not deportation and genocide.
Tell Washington State to divest from genocide in the petition in our link in bio! Never again for anyone.

The Rabbis of the Talmud teach that anyone who witnesses and is able to protest sinful conduct is obligated to do so, wherever it may occur — in our own homes, in our synagogues, in our communities, throughout the whole world. If we do not, it is as though we ourselves have committed the sin.
For the last year, our government has bankrolled Israel’s genocide of Palestinians. Over 42,000 of our Palestinian siblings have been killed by U.S. made, U.S. paid-for bullets and bombs. As American Jews, we know we are not only witness to, but complicit in, this genocide. Our tradition demands that we fight back.
On the cusp of this Day of Atonement, we know that atonement demands action. We cannot sit idly while a Jewish supremacist ideology is used to justify a genocide. Anti-Zionism is our moral imperative and a sacred part of our lineage. As Jews, we know none of us can be free until Palestine is free.
Our mourning altar serves as a physical marker of the responsibility that we have, and the responsibility that we have collectively failed to fulfill, to end the genocide of our Palestinian siblings. Each of us are obligated not only to witness, but to act, until Palestine is free from the River to the Sea.
Yesterday, 1000+ Jews and people of conscience disrupted business as usual and blocked the main entrance to the Space Needle. We are demanding that Senator Patty Murray call for a ceasefire and end to the Israeli government’s genocide of Palestinians — funded by billions of our US tax dollars.
This was the largest Jewish-led rally for Palestine in Seattle history. During the protest, a Space Needle worker walked off to the job and linked arms with those blocking the entrance. Tourists who planned to visit the landmark instead joined our rally & listened to our speakers’ powerful messages. Palestine is an intersectional issue and collective solidarity continues to build.
The devastation continues to increase in Gaza, where an estimated 15,704 Palestinians, including over 6,000 children, have been killed. This death toll includes over 4,000 Palestinians trapped under the rubble. Over 34,000 have been left injured in Gaza. Since October 7th at least 1.7 million Palestinians in Gaza have become displaced inside the strip. These are not just numbers. Each of them is an entire universe extinguished.
As the Israeli genocidal campaign continues in Gaza, the IDF conducts nightly raids in the West Bank on an unprecedented scale. They target Jenin and Nablus from the air, killing civilians, and abduct hundreds for interrogation and torture.
We will keep grieving each precious life lost. We will keep all eyes on Gaza and the West Bank. We must mourn the dead and fight like hell for the living. We will keep showing up to say NOT IN OUR NAMES until there is a ceasefire, and until Palestine is free.
In a historic vote on Wednesday, April 15th, US Senators voted on two Joint Resolutions of Disapproval (JRD).
40 out of 100 Senators voted yes for at least one of two resolutions to block bulldozers and 1,000-pound bombs to the Israeli military.
That's not enough, because that means three fifths of our Senators support continued atrocities committed by Israel against Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Iran, with the wholehearted cooperation of the United States.
Nevertheless, the vote is encouraging, because it is a very big step in the right direction compared to a few years ago.

We, members and friends of the University of Washington community, write to extend our support for Professor Aria Fani, and to express our concern regarding his removal as Director of the UW Middle East Center (MEC) on March 27, 2026. His dismissal is a violation of academic freedom according to the UW's policies, thus threatening the exercise of free speech for all members of the UW community. It stifles by suggestion and suppresses by precedent. Stripping Professor Fani of his Director position also contravenes the stated position of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP). We write to illuminate the invaluable contributions Professor Fani has made to the university through his research, teaching, and service, including in his position as director of the MEC. We call on the university to outline how it will safeguard academic freedom for all UW faculty, staff, and students, especially when this freedom is undermined by pressure from donors, political actors, media personalities, and colleagues with opposing viewpoints. In addition, we urge the UW administration and the Jackson School of International Studies to issue public apologies to Professor Fani, to remedy the wrongs caused by breach of his employment contract, and to account for and rectify the injury to the MEC as a result of this decision.
