Precision engineering in action 👇 This component has several complex features, but the real challenge was ensuring the internal keyways and the spline were perfectly aligned. Achieving this required a mix of milling/slotting and wire EDM, supported by a custom fixture to guarantee accuracy. Projects like this are a reminder that even when only a couple of features are our responsibility, precision and alignment are everything. Small details make a big difference.

As we recognise Men’s Day today, it’s an important moment to reflect on the unique challenges that men face, both in their personal and professional lives. While we celebrate the many strengths and contributions of men, it’s equally crucial to acknowledge the often-overlooked topic of mental health. In today’s fast-paced world, the pressure to meet expectations—whether at work, in relationships, or in society—can take a toll. Men are sometimes less likely to talk openly about their mental health struggles, but it’s vital that we break down the stigma and create a supportive environment for everyone to feel heard and understood. We want to remind everyone that mental well-being is just as important as physical health, and it’s okay to seek help when needed. Whether it’s reaching out to a trusted colleague, speaking with a professional, or simply taking time for self-care, there are many resources available. As we celebrate Men’s Day, let’s also commit to supporting each other, being open to conversations about mental health, and ensuring that our workplace remains a safe space for everyone to thrive. Take care of yourselves and each other.
