Juulz is a DJ and event organizer from Dortmund, part of a new generation shaping the techno scene of Germany’s Ruhr area.
Raised in the industrial landscape of the region, his sound revolves around hypnotic grooves, raw percussion and driving rhythms that form the foundation of his sets. Moving fluidly between tension and release, he focuses on a steady flow of energy.
As a co-founder of the techno collective Hardgrooven, Juulz actively contributes to Dortmund’s underground scene. Through releases, podcasts and regularly hosted events, the collective collaborates with other clubs and collectives across the Ruhr area while fostering a strong local community.

Rather than simply blending their styles, Celodic and Juulz create something entirely new together. Their B2B sets thrive on contrast and connection, driving basslines meet hypnotic elements, while raw energy merges with emotional depth.
A musical dialogue unfolds between the two artists, constantly surprising the crowd and pulling them deeper into the moment. Celodic and Juulz are two DJs from Germany’s Ruhr area whose paths first crossed on the dancefloor. Around the same time they both started DJing individually, they met while partying, a moment that sparked not only a relationship, but also a shared musical journey.
As they developed their own sounds, they continuously pushed boundaries and inspired each other along the way. What began as separate explorations of electronic music quickly evolved into a deeper connection built on their mutual love for techno. That connection can clearly be felt in their sets. Celodic’s sound is versatile and emotional, moving effortlessly between techno, acid, guaracha, breakbeats and trance, inspired elements. Juulz complements this energy with driving grooves, hypnotic structures and a fearless sense of dynamics.
Together, they create intense sets filled with tension, contrast and atmosphere, raw, emotional and unpredictable.

Juulz is a DJ from Dortmund who first connected with electronic music on the dancefloor. That’s where sound and rhythm pulled him in and it’s still what shapes his sound today.
In this podcast, Juulz brings a blend of hypnotic techno, raw energy, and melodic elements. It’s not about sticking to one style, it’s about flow, mood, and keeping things moving.
His sets are built to take you somewhere. Sometimes dark and pushing forward, sometimes deep and spaced out. Always with a sense of movement and change. He likes contrast, smooth vs. rough, calm vs. intense. It’s those unexpected turns that make things interesting.
First time playing b2b at Tresor.West and what can we say…it just felt right.
