Loosely based on Book 1 Ode.13 from the "Odes of Horace". I wanted to focus on not Lydia and Horace but jealousy and obsession. The misery caused by jealousy and the potential happiness secured by constancy in love.

One time I was eating a bowl of Cheerios and I felt a sword stab into my molar and a weird crunch when I bit into one. The filling in one of my molars decided to leave its home and I had bitten into it thinking it was a rounded friend of oat. Thus began a long expedition where I was told I had four cavities, one basically touching a nerve, and that it may have required a root canal. Cheerios are still top tier.
