Party pace turned into survival pace real quick 😅
The marathon owes you nothing, but the people of New York gave me everything.
It was an honor running for the @reevefoundation , raising money and awareness for such an incredible cause that supports those living with paralysis. I’m beyond grateful to even have the ability to run and push my body to its limit — something I’ll never take for granted.
To everyone who donated, supported, and trained with me along the way — you carried me more than you know.
I also ran this one for my dad, who fought cancer with the same strength I tried to channel out there. His fight reminds me why I keep showing up, even when it hurts.
And huge shoutout to @pherrismusic for sticking by my side and keeping me grounded when things got rough.
Didn’t get the race I wanted, but I ran the race that mattered.
See you next year, NYC — we’ve got unfinished business
