Bagged my tickets for @shakethehighroad in Leytonstone on Saturday - always an amazing vibe with a line-up that never misses. Got the Spotify playlist on today too. These pics are from last year where I just rocked up with my camera and a ticket to take some snaps in between sinking local pints. Great news is that even though I was steaming by the end and couldnât remember shooting the headliner in the church, theyâre still sharp! Not sure how much use this USP is.
The @roundhouseldn Gala happens every couple of years to raise money so the venue can continue supporting young musicians, poets and creatives of all types. I was there to capture the arrivals and then the atmosphere, branding, audience and performances. Incredible night raising ÂŁ1.4m - super happy with the pictures.
Got some decent shots here in difficult conditions - shooting from the balcony with extremely limited light landing on the band. The first 3 songs were a short 3 songs too, so not much time to make some magic. Pretty happy with these though! @officialbunnymen for @roundhouseldn
Regular shoot with the loveliest of folk at @anystagetalent - getting nice clean, characterful headshots, mids and full length shots - in multiple outfits. Always a whirlwind, always loads of fun.
Sad to see @slicendough in Leyton closed. Miklos jumped in at the deep end and over time managed to create a pizza he loved - âsomewhere between Roman and NYCâ he told me. Iâd say it was pretty close to the so-called London-style pizza which is rising exponentially right now. He nailed the chewy, no-flop dough and had quality toppings. I met Miklos at late night local haunts generally after heâd finished work. He first approached me because he saw me doing a couple of photos with @libertaliabrewingco and then we played calendar tennis for ages - eventually when I had some cancelled weekend plans I swung by to take photos, eat pizza and hang out.
Love these shots and hope to see him pop up somewhere else soon.
I was asked to shoot this @joy_orbison_ show for @roundhouseldn towards the end of last year. I had about an hour to get round the venue, shooting from inside the pit (after a false start when I was given the wrong pass) and then from the stage, balcony and everywhere else I could poke my lens. Itâs always so great for variety to get more access, to help tell more of a story of the night.
2025 was a difficult one but there was lots to celebrate as well, surrounded by lots of wonderful pals.
Birthdays, Parkruns, trips to Turkey and Porto, working Glasto and Reading, weekends to Sheffield, North Berwick, Newcastle, Loch Lomond⌠lots of gigs and event photography - which are getting their own posts eventually!

Last gig of the year for me, shooting @thecharlatans for @roundhouseldn - Iâm a huge fan so it was a great way to round off the year, especially as we had 6 songs in the pit and then could shoot from around the venue. It makes such a difference to the images as they can tell a story of the night from so many different perspectives. Love these pics!
