Four years of growth, challenges, memories, and blessings. I’m so thankful to have spent my college journey as a student-athlete at THE Ohio State University. This experience tested me in so many ways, but it also taught me resilience, discipline, faith, and how strong I truly am. To Coach Brown, thank you for believing in me and constantly pushing me to be better. Thank you to the coaches, trainers, teammates, my family, and everyone who stood by me throughout this journey. Your support meant everything to me. This journey will always be part of who I am. Buckeye forever ❤️

Crossed the Pi Kappa Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in SPR ‘25 as a part of UnparaΔeled Devo2ion, but will forever be known as V1vacious Violet, ace of my devastating line ❤️! Being a part of a smaller chapter taught me firsthand the importance of the principles upon which our organization was built. This sisterhood has changed me in ways I never imagined, and truly stretched me into the resilient individual that I’ve always aimed to become. In less than a year, I’ve had the honor of serving as President, Secretary, Treasurer, and several chairs within the chapter. I also coordinated our chapter’s 40th Anniversary celebration, led Denison University’s MLK Jr. March alongside NPHC, and helped bring five new initiates into the sisterhood. As a first-generation college student and now the first Delta woman in my family, this moment means everything to me. Legacy truly started here 🥹. Thank you to my Pi Kappa family for showing me genuine sisterhood. I wouldn’t have wanted my introduction to Delta to be any other way. Forever in this sisterhood OO-OOP 🔺🐘

THE ALUMNUS. 🌰 On Sunday, May 10, 2026, I became an alumnus of THE Ohio State University, fulfilling a dream I’ve had since I was a child. The past four years have been filled with joy, pain, laughs, tears…but most importantly, growth. I thank God for the experiences I’ve had. Those have truly shaped me into the man I am today, and while the growth and journey is not complete, I’m proud of all I’ve accomplished thus far. To all staff, faculty, advisors, and mentors that I’ve had, I thank you. The time, resources, and support you’ve extended to me is invaluable. You believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and you pushed me to be better than what I thought my best was. You were instrumental in my personal and professional growth and helped me achieve things I didn’t know I could. Your work will not be in vain. To my friends, you guys have been my strongest support system since 2022. I can’t thank you enough for all the late nights, the vent sessions, the trips, the coffee runs…I could go on forever. I genuinely could not ask to be around better people, and I’m grateful for that. I pray for all your future endeavors and pray that you continue to be in my life and I hope stay in yours the same way. To my family, words cannot explain the gratitude I have for your support in my life. I truly could not have gotten through college without your love, advice, and care, and I’ll forever be indebted to you. I’ve always told you my ultimate goal is to be able to give back everything you’ve given me 10 times over, and I’ll never stop working until that goal is achieved. For every mountain he brought me over and for every trial he got me through, all I can do is praise God for getting me to graduation. 5 years, 2 schools, so many trials, ups and downs, moments of uncertainty, high highs and really low lows that tested me in ways I never expected. There were moments I felt overwhelmed, wanted to quit being unsure of what was next, and even in the times when my eyes weren’t fully on him, God’s hand never left me. Through every setback and every lesson, I found my worth in God instead of in my situation, and looking back now, that made this journey worth it all. 🎓🤍 - Jeremiah 29:11
