The Hospital at the End of the World will be released on February 3, 2026. The sci-fi medical thriller will be my first novel and is coming out from HarperCollins.
I started this story eleven years ago in medical school. It’s taken me through some things! Im quite proud of the end result, a near-future exploration of AI’s impact on medicine and my own return to the joys, fears, triumphs, and horrors of becoming a doctor.

Had a great conversation with @justinckey , psychiatrist and author of The Hospital at the End of the World.
A lot of people are talking about AI right now from a tech angle. Justin comes at it from a mental health angle, which made this conversation go to some really interesting places.
We talked speculative fiction, large language models, modern loneliness, psychiatry, and the kinds of psychological consequences nobody really wants to think about yet.
