Inspired by Saint Sebastian by Sandro Botticelli, I incorporated elements of this theme into my latest art series.
This piece is made from linen and cotton thread, and I love how the materials create depth and texture within the work. I experimented with a process that allowed me to layer and build dimension, giving the artwork a more tactile and physical presence.
What intrigues me most about this piece is how it challenges the viewer’s perception. By using negative space and intentionally leaving gaps, the viewer is invited to fill in the missing pieces with their own imagination. The work becomes less about a fixed image and more about interpretation, memory, and presence.

It’s all about the small details and then bringing them all together. This fashion series for designer Clive Rundle was definitely one of my favorite to shoot: URBAN NOMAD. It was incredible to have had full creative freedom to produce the most beautiful stills and film with such a talented team.
