“Test If I” was born from a close collaboration between performing artist The Wild Child and the DJ and producer
collective AMPER, composed of Prïa, NAB, and Zac Martel. This encounter marks a shared exploration into a
rawer, more hypnotic sonic territory. Montréal welcomed them, allowing this nostalgic musical imprint to evolve,
immersing us in the romance of a Montréal February evening.
Blending afro rhythmic, rock, and house, Test If I traces a taut line between tension and release, drawing its energy
from the physicality of a raw dancefloor, at the edge of techno. It opens the first chapter of a series of collaborations
- an eclectic laboratory where sonic languages intersect, brush against one another, and redefine themselves. The
Wild Child complements an organic electronic production with a lived-in voice, at once fragile and magnetic,
threading through the track like a glowing filament between tension and surrender.
