Dímelo would like to congratulate @isaacxiv_ for being named the winner of the Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting alongside the Reuters team! 🏆 Isaac is Dímelo Radio’s Co-founder, an integral part of expanding our coverage into audio storytelling.
This recognition comes after their series which documented how the U.S. government and the president expand executive power. Congratulations!
Nestled in a corner on the third floor of Ronald Tutor Campus Center is the office of the Latino Alumni Association. Sitting atop the desk of the executive director is a new name placard that marks a new chapter for LAA, just as much as it signifies a beginning for its new director.
Ray López-Chang is only a few months into his role as executive director, but he already talks about it less like a job and more like a calling. On paper, the job description is straightforward: fundraising, scholarships, and alumni programming. But the way he describes it, it’s really about connection.

South Central for Justice in Palestine & Students for Justice in Palestine partnered with the Flower Drive Tenants Association to host the Festival for Resistance.
This event calls upon USC students and local community members to take a stand with the residents of Flower Drive, who are experiencing mass evictions as developers look to build student housing.
The event hosted clothing and food vendors, as well as performances from local musicians. Much of the proceeds went to funds for South LA community members, as well as fund raisers for Palestinian communities.

The barrier to success in the music industry no longer requires a million-dollar marketing budget or familiarity with the business. Social media algorithms are making it easier for up-and-coming artists to find their audiences. YUMA, Harlo, J Arias, Davizzy, and HDLV used the D-I-Y method, y ganas, to find their audience.
Now, these artists are under a new record label, La Bodega Records. “La Bodega” reflects the cultural diversity in a typical East Coast bodega—a mix of sounds and stories. 📝 - Sara Alvarez

A desktop 3D printer buzzes for hours, building its creation layer by layer from melted plastic. Nearby, a growing pile of scraps collects; tangled filament and failed prints from previous runs.
In Makerspaces, these leftovers are jokingly called “printer poop,” but the nickname hides a serious and increasingly common waste stream.
