I watched “Michael” last night and loved how creative and nostalgic it felt. It brought back so many memories that I had to dig up a photo of me at 3 years old in my MJ leather jacket for old times sake.
My partner in life, art, and love. You bring a balance to my life like no other, and I’m so happy to be on this journey with you. Today and every day, we celebrate you. Happy Birthday, moré.
This winter, I’ve been in a kind of hibernation. Not just because the world feels heavy, but because I needed to turn inward and focus on healing. To take a step back from everything and just be. And that’s OK.
I’m someone who’s usually out, social, moving, doing all the things. So choosing stillness hasn’t looked like me. But I want to say this clearly: it’s okay to step back. And it’s also okay for others not to understand it right away. It’s not personal. It’s necessary.
Stepping back can look different for everyone. For me, it’s been quiet reflection, crafting, and letting new ideas slowly take shape for what’s next. It’s been giving myself permission to rest without guilt and to move at a pace that actually feels good.
If you’re in a season where you need to pull back, I hope you give yourself that grace. Take care of yourself in whatever way you know how. I’m cheering you on from the sidelines.
I needed this. I deserved this. And so do you.
Happy Birthday, my son. There are no words that truly capture how proud I am of the man you’ve become. You carry yourself with strength, compassion, and a heart that is so genuine and kind. Watching you grow through life has been such a beautiful journey.
Now, seeing you step into fatherhood fills me with even more pride. I already know you’re going to be an incredible father, because of the love you give so naturally and the care you show to those around you. Your heart is your greatest gift, and it’s going to shape a whole new life in the most beautiful way.
I love you more than you know. Happy Birthday.
Tonight my mom and I made it to the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter, Inc. Empty Bowls Fundraiser, our annual tradition and one I look forward to every year (and probably our 10th year, judging by how many bowls I’ve collected!). Delicious soups, a wonderful cause, and so many familiar faces. This year was especially meaningful because Robin Peringer made me a bowl, and it is absolutely stunning. She was my art teacher over 25 years ago and has been one of the main leaders behind this event for years. It’s moments like this that remind me how much community matters, and how art can truly make a difference.
Thank you, Lauren Grace, for the care, intention, and thoughtfulness you brought to this conversation. You helped me encapsulate not just the concept, but how I want to live. The time and energy you poured into this podcast episode is deeply felt, and it truly could not have come at a more meaningful moment.
In the past week alone, I learned that a friend has cancer, and I lost two family members, one who lived 92 years and another who was just 23. Experiences like this force you to slow down and reflect on how precious life is, and how much it matters what we do with the time we are given.
This conversation reminded me why we should treat each day with care, presence, and love. Lauren Grace, thank you for holding space with such depth and respect, and for creating something that invites reflection, honesty, and intention. I am grateful for you and for this moment in time.

In need of a proper nightcap in an intimate setting?
Order “Cecilia’s Muse”, a pineapple clarified milk punch inspired by yours truly at CodeX BAR. It’s my go-to every single time.
To get in the speakeasy, pick up the pay phone and say:
“I’ve got business with the Duke.”
Let me know what you think if you try it!
🍸 Cheers!
Happy 21st birthday to my bonus daughter Alyza 🤍
The world is yours, and I can’t wait to see what your next journey holds. So proud of you today and always. ✨
14 weeks. Countless late nights and long work days. So much growth.
I’ve officially graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program alongside an incredible group of people I’m proud to now call friends and affiliates. Huge gratitude for the space, tools, and push to think bigger and stronger for Positive Street Art.
Can’t wait to pour everything I’ve learned into the next chapter of growth for the organization. Let’s go!
Shout out to my team and family for showing up for me to celebrate this achievement and supporting me through it, love you guys!
