Making his third appearance at Tech Styles, IT’S CAPTAIN SUGARRUSH!!
We’re really happy to have @captainsugarrush back with us for the 10th Edition of Tech Styles. His past appearances have been nothing short of amazing! With 24 years breakin experience and around 20 years of hosting, he’s definitely qualified for the job.
SugarRush brings his own flair to the event — his humour, delivery, timing and the way he takes the time to learn about the Bboys and Bgirls beforehand. What sets him apart is his attention to detail. He makes the effort to connect with everyone, regardless of their level and that personal touch helps dancers truly feel seen and valued.
In the past year, SugarRush has expanded his impact on the community even further. He has delivered workshops, given performances and taken part in even more festivals. He also spent time in Turkey, connecting with the community over there too. One key highlight of his year was when he led a silent disco workshop for 1,500 people. SugarRush is a valued member of his community and he continues teaching to the next generation and hosting events with that same enthusiasm and passion.

“A decade of Tech Styles and this is only the beginning. It’s more than just an event, it’s a community coming together to celebrate Hip Hop.”
He’ll be hosting alongside the legendary MC Trix! This duo is not to be missed!
